Couple of points I forgot to mention. You'll probably need to back off the
mechanical adjusters all the way to get the drum off past the shoes,
especially if there's a lip worn on the inside edge of the drums. There may
be threaded holes in the drums that let you insert bolts and ease the drums
off of the raised section of the axles. All of the holes and fittings on
the roadster chassis are SAE, not metric.
You will probably need generous amount of penetrating spray (PB Blaster or
similar) and maybe some freezing spray to get stubborn fasteners loose.
Spray stuck fasteners and let soak overnight. Heat can also help, but be
VERY careful.
