Another acknowledgement of Kevin being helpful and a great guy. I'm a neop=
hyte when it comes to Roadsters, but a couple of years ago at the Datsun me=
et in Williams AZ, Kevin took lots of time to explain many of the intricaci=
es among the various years and models. I was especially taken with the SR20=
DE engine conversion and Kevin pointed out many pros and some (very few) co=
ns to the swap. He didn't push me one way or the other but I felt that he =
had shared lots of valuable information.
Side note: today I pulled the roadster out from under the tree where it has=
slumbered for several years. My wife said to me, "Put it together or sell=
it." I can't think of any reason to sell it so I'll be looking for parts.=
When I acquired the car the hydraulic systems were frozen solid; they sti=
ll are. I suppose getting brakes on the thing so I can safely move it from=
place to place would be a good thing. And since I've got some guys coming=
to do some body work on the '66 Thunderbird convertible, they may as well =
fix the few things on the roadster while they're here. Now if I can just f=
igure how to afford the SR20 swap.....
