Chris,

Are you running a factory exhaust manifold, or a header? The factory
manifolds developed cracks all over the place but can be welded. The
manifold was a particularly good design so headers were not an improvement.

You don't need anything more than a head to manifold gasket to take the
manifold off. Once off you should be able to see cracks or see the blown out
part of the gasket.

I jave a minor exhaust leak somewhere near the cyl heaf ex. manifold are.
Not under the car at thw manifold to ex. pipe atea but higher up.  Is this a
common problem?  Are there any area that typically crack, or do I just need
to buy a gasket set and dig in.
