The 1500 crank has a longer stroke than the 1600 3 main.

You sure? The G15 crank has shorter throws (74mm stroke). That's how Darryl
stroked his 3-main R16 to 1800.

If not, I may have a crank for you. Will know for sure after we breakdown
another R16. Number five in a quest to find a rebuildable
candidate.....sigh.....

Anyone out there have a three main bearing crank that would fit a G series
1500? Shop screwed up my last donor crank by not checking line bore on the
block for my 1963 1500 Fairlady. If memory serves correct the early
1600's works (prior to mid 67). Need to keep matching numbers on the block
for
this rare single carb car.

Let me know at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
