I worked with a guy who would put about a pint of trans fluid in a
full tank of gas when he was going on a trip so that he could burn most
of it off at highway speeds. He swore by it for cleaning the carbon out
of the engine. Not sure of the best proportions, but he drove an older
70's Mercury with a big tank, if that helps. Never btried it myself.
