Thanks Dave,
You're the only one who replied with the Flasher info so far. I guess I have
to go get a second one. I got an email from Gary "the man" himself about the
rotor and cap. "Cap and rotor for a 1982 Nissan 210 (1.4 L engine if they
have to ask what engine)". I assume the later year may have the brass
contact set. I'm thinking some Velcro tape on the OUTSIDE of the dash OVER
the clock may be the way to go to mount my iPod controller screen. I have
too much other stuff I want to do before Mitty to frustrate myself taking
out everything I would need to (heater box, controllers, etc., to get my fat
ass close enough to the clock to pull it!

You need a cap and rotor for a 1980 Datsun/Nissan 210 or 310 with an A
series engine, a-14 a-15 etc. Get a brass contact set if you can.
There are 2 flashers
You are on your own with the clock, never tried that one.

Subject: [Roadsters] A couple of questions
Hi All,
In order to save multiple emails, here are a few questions regarding my
'70
SRL:
How do I get the clock out without removing the dash? Is this possible?
(I
felt back there, and there don't seem to be any nuts to remove, as I'd
hoped. I want to mount the Harmon Kardon "drive and play" screen in that
space)
What parts do I ask for when getting a cap/rotor for a non-vacuum
advance
Gary Boone EI? (I lost the page with that info)
If I wish to replace the old style flasher unit with an electronic
type(s),
how many do I need? (I see multiples on the wiring schematic)
Preparing for Mitty,
Thanks!
Matt
