That happens with the 4 speeds, but if you leave the tail shaft on the 5
speed, no oil comes out.
I've also read that a spray paint cap fits well on the tail of the 4 speed
and prevents leakage, but I have no personal experience there.

Don't forget to have pan or can or whatever ready to catch the oil that
didn't drain out of the tranny....
I haven't been there, but I've read plenty of posts from folks who have! <g>
