I just want to comment about ebay. I use it to buy and sell a lot, and the
biggest frustration is when sellers cancel a transaction early and sell it
outright. It's not fair to other potential buyers, and although most people
could care less, it's not fair to ebay. They are a business, and they need
to make money.
I hope this seller isn't playing games to list on ebay and then selling to
his "offer in Phoenix." I know there's a lot of different opinions about
the sale price of these cars, and all I can say is that I can never figure
it out.
I understand the reserve concept, but I would think on an item like a car
you would just want start it at the minimum you would accept. I would weed
out the field of people that aren't that interested in the first place.
Just my $0.02
Tim

I stand corrected, Mark Dent pointed out that $8500 would be "reserve not
met" I hadn't noticed that. my guess is his reserve is the $10k he said he'd
been offered by someone in Phoenix.
