Hi folks, I have a brake issue and would appreciate some advice.
High windshield, 1600 with a Dual Master Brake Cylinder, Dunlop front brake
pistons, stock lines and rears.
Here's the problem:
Went to bleed the system, noticed brake fluid level was a touch low so fluid
was added. Rear and front lines are bled and free of air with the assistance
of a pedal man.
But
1) The brake pedal still has a dead / soft feel.
2) Brake pressure on rears is good
3) Noticed that air is entering into the main reservoir and exiting at the
top
4) ZERO brake pressure on front calipers. (examined one of front caliper
pistons and caliper pistons seem to fine and relatively in good shape)
Is the problem the dual master cylinder?
Will a re build kit fix the problem?
Or is new master needed?
Are any kits better than others?
Or is the problem something else?
