rear axle shims and model builder

Working on the rear axle/differential, and the paper-thin spacers between
the brake backer and axle housing were shredded at some point.  Does anybody
have some they can spare?  

Also, I'm looking for one of the wonderful model builders out there.  I have
a little (about 1/50 scale) roadster model that I'd like to get assembled,
but that's not my skill.
