I would like to warn everyone on this list, and in the Roadster community,
about a seller to avoid on ebay.
I won a set of hub caps last month. The pictures showed them to be spotless.
The set I got was covered in rust bubbles--all four-- under the surface and one
had a nasty gash/dent on it. None of this was shown in the pictures or
mentioned on the auction page.
I sent them back--as per his instructions-- and this person is not accepting
them from the driver. (signature required) They don't answer the phone nor do
they return phone calls or emails. The only email I got was telling me to
return the set and I would get a refund.
The ebay ID is "detoyota" and his name is Conrado Deleon. He lives in
Richmond, CA.
If any one in the Bay Area knows this guy, please tell him to do the right
thing and refund my money.
I grew up about two hours from him and am going home for a vacation in three
months. My brother played D 1A football and I am bigger (and nastier) than he
is. ;-) I hate making house calls.
Seriously, avoid this person and again, if anyone in the Bay Area knows this
guy, tell him to do the right thing.
