About 1 1/2 turns is good. Should be a little rich but that makes for easy
starting the first time.
With the choke on you should have a little pool. If you have one with the
nozzles up the float level is too high.

was hoping someone could help me out with this one- should be simple...
when setting up a set of SU's for baseline running- I've pulled the domes
and set the knobs underneath so the top of the "enrichening valve" or
whatever it's called is level at the inside of the carb- for baseline, do I
back off on each one 2 1/2 turns? I know I have to form a "pool" of gas on
top of it...believe I have the floats set about right now, didn't seem to
have a simple on or off spot, had to blow thru the caps and see where the
floats were when the airflow shut off as I lifted them up. not where I'd
expect them to be shutting off by eyeballing it and measurements.
