I live just down the road from Solvang in Goleta Ca. The local weather
reporters say that it will rain good on Wednesday, lighten up on Thursday
and will be clear on Friday through the weekend. Furthermore, A 100% chance
of eclectic Datsun Roadster owners scattered across the country will
converge as a visual affront to the locals with spiritual highs not seen
since the late 1960's. Many of these conveyances will be seen topless as
they revel in the streets, no doubt leaving onlookers breathless and
muttering remembrances of their lost youth & carriages as well. Thundering
applause will rain down on the best of show in all categories, and back
roads will be driven hard through the weekend. Solvang may never return to
normal.
