there is a firm in canada that specializes in making seals and other
vinyl/rubber products for British cars such as triumphs and mgs.
he is providing the door sealing strip? (the item that runs along the door
to body seam and up the windshield) for me in red to match my red interior
(OK. it's actually Austin Healey red).
he told me that if i sent him a sample, he would see if he could match it to
stocks they have.
he would be happy, i think, to have more customers. he offered to do the
trunk seal for my car but i'm just going to go standard body rubber rather
than "go original" with the trunk mounted seal.
