<At first I thought some smarty must have bondo'd these away to make the car
look slicker - no luck. I looked and found not evidence of body work.

I've been told on various occasions that the mirrors were put on by the
dealer. I can't swear that this is correct but this is what I've been told.
Mine has no holes in the door nor have they been patched. It has fender
mounted sideviews. It depended upon what the dealer decided to use.
