I have Used Hanlon Plating in Richmond with good results. Its cheap for
their "Street Chrome", about $125 for a bumper, and this includes some
straightening, brazing and filling of pits, etc. Its not perfect by any
means, but will not peel off, at least if you keep your car in a gaarage.
He does not particularly like to do Datsun parts because they are so flimsy,
at least the bumpers are. All the other little parts have a minimum price
of around $25, so a set of tailights is another hundred bucks. It can add
up pretty quick.
