I have been working with a friend who racing stock & sprint cars, and he
suggested this:
http://www.lefthanderchassis.com/ball%20joints2.html
The mono style ball joints are completely rebuildable and adjustable,
will be around for a LONG time as many racers are starting to use them,
and are good for angles up to 40 degrees. They have weld-in mounts
available, but I was just thinking of using the "081-1185 style" and
bolting it directly on my upper a-arm. They even have a reamer for using
them with spindles that don't have the proper taper (7 degrees). What is
the taper on the Datsun Roadster spindles, anyways?
Any thoughts?
