You mean, raise the fuel level? I'd make sure the level is correct to
start with.

The parts catalog lists different numbers for  the pumps, but the fuel
pump is on the engine so assuming the pump on the car now came
with the engine, you've got the right one.

The Roadster tanks are already baffled.

In my personal opinion, you need to make sure that everything on
the car is working correctly. Is a fuel line partly clogged? Are the
carbs in good shape (i.e. correctly adjusted, floats good, valves
good, no kinks in the fuel lines, needles are seats good, etc etc)?
Is the fuel pump running correct pressure and capacity? I think you're
chasing something that is 'broken' rather than a vehicle design
deficiency...
