Could be a bad battery. I had the same thing happen to me. The car started and ran fine except it was charging at almost 30 amps. I too changed regulators and it made no difference and I changed the alt as I had a spare. After all that I brought the battery to Sears where they diagnosed it as a bad battery. Put in the new one and all was fine again. Mike |
