Posting to the list first before going to ebay.....

Dats 2000 (1968 titled as 1969)
Vin: SRL31104850
Mileage: 45,075
Location: New Jersey

Im selling my "project 2000" car. Ive had the car since 1995.
The engine is completely rebuilt, as well as most of the other
mechanicals.

The PO (a friend of mine) had begun working on it (mostly body) and left
the project to me.

After working on the car for a bit, rebuilding the engine and alot of the
mechanicals, the car has been sitting neglected in the garage due to the fact
that I
have several other classic cars that I run and work on.... Lotus, Bertone,
etc.

Alot of money has been dumped into the car, so it would be a great car to
finish up or even use for parts,

knowing how rare some parts are becoming (like high top windshields !)

The car has two softtop frames with latches....

Also.... put into the car, some with receipts:

New Mikuni Solex 40mm + jetting assortment $1,150

New Brake Master Cyl $146.66

New Clutch and Slave Cyls

Recored Radiator $240.00

Restored Gas Tank $256.00

AR Aluminum Outlaw II Rims $355.96 + Tires $300

Rebuilt valves/head $307.00

Roll Bar $175.00

Overall the body still needs some TLC to get dings and such out of it,
including a rust hole in bottom of the rear driver's fender.

It is mostly grey-primered, having originally been a Silver car.

There are too many parts to list, plus a bunch not used yet sitting in
boxes...
like........ new caliper pistons, gaskets, clips, cables, electricals,
hoses and etc.

Since I removed the original SU carbs (and traded them) I have not run the
engine... the Mikunis were bolted to check fitment,
but they are not mounted and tuned up yet.

Looking for the car to go to an enthusiast !

Email me offlist if interested. I will be in Italy for 2 weeks (starting
next week). When I come back I plan on auctioning it online.

Pictures on request.

Looking for something close to $$3k O.B.O.

Thanks,
Ed
