That's 'cause NAPA sources the wrong points. If you look very
closely on 'our' points, you'll see there's a little step on the alignment
pin on the bottom (on the pivot end). The NAPA parts don't have this
step and the pin doesn't fit properly onto the plate.
I've heard that early Honda Civic points will work but haven't researched.
I just grab a new set now and then from the dealer.
