OT Email

Just a curious question about email.

With the tons of spam, I went to a spam filter and not that it has anything to 
do with the question but it helps.

Anyway, from time to time I see email in the spam folder that has one "from" 
address and only one "to" address on an email and no "cc" addresses.

The "to" address is not mine and not even close to mine, so how did it get into 
my mailbox?
