List,
Found this old post in the archives and was wondering if anyone uses
this method for valve adjusting. it seems easier and no "pushing " the
car required.

Guys,
On all four cylinders with firing order 1-3-4-2 or
on any four-cylinder for that matter set the engine on top dead center number 1
by looking at your rotor on your distributor, counting from the front of the
engine adjust one, two, three, and five valves, rotate 360 degrees and adjust
one, two, three, and five counting from the rear. This is the easiest way
to adjust the valves on you four-cylinder Datsuns. Any questions, contact
me at wiles4u@earthlink.net .
Thanks,
Bill
