What ever you are thinking, I certainly hope it doesn't involve a Datsun.
The Stag V8 is a big part of why Triumph went belly up. It has to be one of
the worst motors ever produced. Timing chains are likely to last 20,000
miles, if you're lucky! And even at their best, they didn't have a very
good power band. Most stags to day in England have Ford V6s in them. The
few that made it state side either sit idle with stock motors, or run a
Buick/Olds aluminum V8. There is one here in Cleveland that has a Buick
turbo V6 under it's hood.
There are a few companies that make wire wheel adapters. Just not sure if
any of them have the right bolt pattern.
Please tell me the motor isn't going into a Datsun!
