I'm assembling my 2 Liter and have a question about the distributor gear. The
engine manual states that I should install it with the crank and jack shaft at
TDC, turn the slot forward of vertical and engage the gears and rotate it
clockwise to slide it down so that the slot is at "11:25" o'clock with the
smaller of the semi-circles forward. The shaft rotates COUNTER-CLOCKWISE at it
settles in and the picture shows the larger of the semi-circles forward. Are
there any experts out there that might help me through this?
