Hello All,
I am wanting to reduce the under hood temps as much as possible.
I have a header already that I bought from Stan a while ago. It seems like
a good header. The mounting flange is .5" thick and the header tubes are
1.5" id probably .065" wall. The header tubes are stainless and the
flanges-collectors are mild steel. After having the header covered under
header wrap for the last several years I unwrapped it today and it looks
fine.
Does anyone have any experience with the other headers out
there? I think that all the vendors sell a header and I think that they all
sell them with a coating to reduce heat. I am just trying to figure out if
my header is worth it to have coated or if I should just buy another already
coated header.
