An electrical problem on my car has me stumped.
All electrical systems look as if they are working,
the battery is fully charged, but the starter motor
will not turn. All I hear is a click instead.
I put car into gear and rocked it for a while to move
it, and the starter motor worked. So I know I can get
out of the garage, but will I be able to get home?
What is about to fry and be more expensive to repair?
Should I just accept the starter is about to go and
replace it or is there more to this?
Only other relevant bit of info is that the generator
/ alternator recently stopped charging the battery.
However, I seem to have fixed this by replacing the
voltage regulator.
Thanks in advance.
