Thanks for the link, Eric, I just shot them an email about the
low-windshield tops, but I think our friend Eric has already answered the
question.
Sick story: About ten years ago, when I was really into Datsuns, I phoned
Parrish and talked to Mr. P himself about low windshield Datsun tops. He
groaned and told me he'd cleaned house a month prior, and the mold for those
tops got cut up and thrown away to make room. Hadn't sold one in years.
Sigh. I groaned a bit myself when I heard that...
Oh well, SOMEBODY should pick up the ball and start making them again. The
'glass' is a flat piece, curved to fit, with NO compound curves. The rubber
is available and the rest is just a function of a proper mold and a lot of
messy work.
