The 2000 carbs are all aluminum w/o bushings.  Test to see if you have
leakage around the throttle shafts.  If the throttle bodies are warn, it
doesn't make sense to "rebuild" them with a rebuild kit.  That why the
references to Z therapy and apple are the way to go.
