Please, Please DO NOT use liquid nails. That will permanently adhere the
window to the channel. Meaning you will have to break the window to get
it out or trash the whole assembly. Plain old silicone will hold it in,
stop it from rattling, and be removable in the future.

I'm not sure about the "right way" but if you take off the inner door panel
to
get access to the winder/regulator mechanism, you will see the glass sits in
a
metal channel. I would lay a bunch of goop, like liquid nails, into the
channel
and then press the glass back in and let it dry, then put everything back
together.
