I have just done the same repair on my U20. I used a loctite rubber
gasket liquid that came with a brush so that you can paint it on really
thin. So far so good.

I'm putting a new waterpump on my U20. the old one had no sealant on the
gasket. Should I use some form of sealant or just put the gasket on dry?
