On most of the restored cars, there seems to be a fair amount of the gold
cad plating. I was wondering about the original finish of some of the
items. It looks like a lot of the stuff had a silver cad plating originally
and later replacements were gold cad. Some early Solex carbs brought this
question to mind, so I figured who better to ask than the original owners!
Anyone care to comment?
