It's an E Prepared autocross car. It has 12.5 to 1 Jahns pistons, head work,
44mm mikunis, and a 296 degree solexII cam. I have a 3 gallon fuel cell that
will empty after 6 runs of about 1 mile each. At full throttle it really sucks
the gas. Imagine pouring a gallon of milk out through a straw over the course
of 1 minute. I used to test the car around the block and on a 5 mile country
drive but after the 4th time of running out of gas I decided to stay closer to
home. That and the nice police man who told me to stop doing it. I don't
think he could belive it when he pulled me over. He saw no lights, horn,
windshield, tags, wipers, and slick tires that say in big letters "Not For
Highway Use". I filled up and drove off before he could decide what to do.

WOT - 8K rpm
That's about what I get too. I've run out of gas more than once on the
way home from an autocross after starting the day with a good 1/4 tank.
That's less than 6 miles of travel and a few minutes of idling. Amazing
how much gas those solex's will flow.

OK Andy, for those of us whom are uninformed, tell us how your Roadster
is
configured to be getting only one to two mpg...
