Norman,
I don't believe that there is an install kit for these vehicles. Did some
research on them and came up with zippo. What I did: (purists-don't read this
!!) Since the original wheel was in pretty crummy shape, I used it as a
"sacrificial" hub for attaching my new wheel. I used an abrasive cut-off wheel
to
detach spokes from wheel, got a machinist buddy to clean up the OD (of what was
left) and also tap attachment holes into the face where I could bolt on the
new wheel to it. That way, the splines fit properly, and the recesses for the
turn signal trip are still in the right place. The wheel I got had a stamped
steel "spider" that mated the new wheel to the sacrificial hub. Yeah, it puts
the wheel a little closer to you, but it feels a lot better than that 16"
hula-hoop!
Second question: if I'm reading you right you're asking if there is anything
on frame underneath where mounting pads of rollbar mate to floor/parcel shelf
floor. Don't know, but I'm getting ready to do the same thing.
Good luck,
Mike Davenport
