Hi,
I'm trying to determine how this Race Cams, Inc. cam fits in between the
standard cam, and the Solex cam.
These are the specs:
Valve lash: 0.012 cold
Intake centerline: 108 deg ATDC
Intake opening @ 0.050 lifter lift : 16deg BTDC
Recommended rocker arm ratios: 1.5 intake and exhaust
Theoretical Valve lifts: 0.500 intake and exhaust
Theoretical durations: 248deg intake and exhaust with
0.050 valve lift
Rec valve spring pressure: 120lbs closed and 250lb open
Intake closes 52deg ABDC, exhaust opens 52deg BBDC, exhaust closes 16deg
ATDC
This was a U20 cam that was reground in 1977 by Race Cams Inc.
What does the jury say about it?
Many thanks - my hope is it's a strong street / mild race cam.
