Those "sheet metal extensions" are actually the stock air horns. No other
air is  needed. The 6mm nuts that hold the cleaner back plate to the carbs
are trapped under them. To install, start each nut, with a split lock
washer, with just a couple of threads. Once you've got the all started,
tighten them down to finger tight then wrench tight. A 10mm crows foot
wrench is need to tighten the lower ones without pain.
