tight motor problem found

I measured the crank and found that the machine shop had turned the main
journals .010" under and the rod journals .020" under.  I have the work order
where it says the exact opposite.  I purchased and installed .020" under main
bearings and that is what caused it to be too tight.  Thanks for all the
advice.
