Steering Box removal

I am having trouble removing it.  The pitman arm is in the way.  It probably
has never been pulled before.  I have rented at puller but it is a little to
wide and only pulls at an angle.  I will look for a smaller diameter puller.
I don't want to put any heat on the arm due to the oil in the steering box.
Any other suggestions.  Larry.
