hi,
i finally figured out the brake cylinders i think. if you look in the
threaded holes of the outside cylinder you will see that one is recessed and
the other has a cone protruding upwards towards the threads. the metal line
that connects to the brass block connects to the bottom of the outside
cylinder which has the cone. this line is flared on both ends. The line that
connects the two cylinders together is not. at least mine were not. they
were cone shaped as well and i assume that they match the recessed cylinder
holes. everything went together farley easy. i still need to fabricate a new
brake line to replace the line from the rubber brake line on the drivers
side front brake to the junction sensor (i guess you could call it that) on
the other side of the engine area near the battery located on the firewall.
what size line and fittings do i need? this will be a first for me. i have
the flare tool but still need a pipe bender and cutter. Any help
appreciated.
