All first generation Z-cars sold in Europe had
the Servo type syncro and all were 5 speed OD.
Both "A" and "B" type of gearboxes. On the first
year of 280 ZX the 5:th gear had servo type
syncro. Like Steve write, they did wear out way
too quickly. I think they were not dimensioned
properly to handle the engine power or they
didn't use the right material in the rings that the
shift fork moved over the brake rings to change
gears. Those are always worn out in the gearbox.
