where to start....built my first motorized go-kart when I was 7. first car
at 11- dad and I each kicked in $10. to buy a 54 Chevy which got parked in
the back yard and the deal was I could take it apart and put it back
together but I couldn't drive it. had a few dirt bikes, got first British
car at 15- a '59 Bugeye for $165. brought home my first Indian, a 1942 Sport
Scout, on my 16th birthday so mom couldn't say no. Dad had passed away by
that time. got it for $55. have had a real car jones all my life, have
owned literally a couple hundred cars. 27 Chrysler rumbleseat roadster (have
now) 28 Buick coupe, 30 Studebaker Dictator Dual Sidemount straight
8.........Austin Healy 3000, Fiat Dino Coupe, XKE, MKII,MKIX, XJ, XK150 DHC
Jags, 54 Studebaker Coupe (have had 31 years now) Lancia Scorpion, Opel
GT's, Spitfire, TR4,TR250,TR6 (have now) Saab Sonnets, Peugeot 404, 35
Morris and 52 Jowett Jupiter (have both now) Studebaker Golden and Silver
Hawks, Sunbeam Tigers, 70 GTO, AAR Cuda, 64 Formula S Barracuda, 68 Forumula
S....other Cuda's.......64 Chrysler 300K, 52 Mercedes 300 Cabriolet, 61
190SL.....55 T-Bird, 65 Falcon Ranchero (have now) 55 VW, 74 Ghia
Convertible, single and double cab VW pickups, Corvair Greenbrier, Monzas
and Corsas, 8 67.5 2000's (have 3 now, had another one 2x) a bunch of other
Datsun Roadsters, an antique wood Chris Craft, an 1821 4000sf brick manor
house, and a partridge in a pear tree...........
oh yeah, I'm 50, have been married to Elaine for 11 years and we have a 10
year old daughter Victoria. spent the last year putting whatever time I was
able into working on our house. I think I have more roadster parts, parts
cars, and builders than I can possibly utilize in my lifetime if anyone's
looking for such.... going to look at another 67.5 2000 tomorrow :-)
