Pack the inside of the T/O sleeve with wheelbearing grease and slide it on
the sleeve and wipe off the excess grease. Put some grease on the pivot
ball or on the inside of the throwout arm where it contacts the pivot.
Slide the throwout arm onto the T/O Cover tube and behind the spring
retainer. The push the throwout arm over the pivot ball. It may be
necessary to reach behind the throwout arm and spread the retaining spring
wire so it goes on easily. Then install the dust boot over the arm and
into the bell housing.
