Impact guns cause less damage to frozen or hard to remove bolts than using a
breaker bar. Did anyone try to remove the pinion nut using a ratchet? While
it is possible the impact gun makes it infinitly easier.
Many Miata owners have ruined the caged nuts holding the coil over shocks to
the suspension. I had no such problems using an impact gun.
