You can also get aftermarket belts at Kragen, Auto zone, etc. type places.
Either for a long term solution or just to wear until you get what you really
want. I've bought a bunch of cars without belts and have been fine with these.
It really is a good idea to wear them. And in many of places you can be
ticketed for going without.
