I wasn't talking about guys but just an observation I made over the years
attending races. I would hear guys in the pits talking about how they did this
and that to lighten their cars (some cheating of course) and then look at the
person doing the talking - with the beer belly. I chuckle quietly.

Seriously, with a car as small and light as the roadster,
anything allowed by the rules you can take off, thats

I always laugh when I read how far some guys go to reduce the weight of
their car and then see that they are about 50lbs overweight if not more.
Seems the simplest way to reduce the weight of the car is to go on a diet
:)
I think the weights quoted by Datsun for our registrations are dry
weight.
