hi,
well I finally my early 67 it up and running again. I bought Gary's EI
converted setup. the install was pretty easy once I figured out what I was
doing wrong. Gary's instructions are very good. the car started right up and
I timed it. however it is blowing some white smoke now. the engine seems to
be running rich with a little backfire if I rev it. I do not have the vacuum
line hooked up yet. will this cause it to do what im getting? I think im at
the step of tuning the carbs. I have never done this and could use some good
instructions. the book seems confusing. anyway, thx for the help.
