Congrats Paul! I was off 10.5 months last year, and wish I had enjoyed
it as much as you had! (?).

  Ha! You ain't kidding! I'm running a muffler with a glas pack (too 
cheap to pay $140 for a Nissan resonator). It's too close to sounding 
like a weed whacker IMO (Laurie's term as I recall :) ). I'm sure most 
of my neighborhood knows when I'm road-testing.. . "oh there goes Dan.. 
is he going for 6,500 rpm? Come on.. come on... YEP, there it is!!".
Someday I want to find a quieter, or at least lustier-sounding fix.
  Also, with a 'missing exhaust piece' setup, I fatigued more on road
trips due to the noise. After about 4 hrs, I have to use earplugs.
