We have a lake community up here that has a resident amficar.  It is quite a
trip to watch him bobbing across the lake and then pull it up on the beach.
I think it's mostly a toy for the kids (must be nice).  It looks kind of
like a roadster sized '57 Chevy.  Now if they made a blown-flat bottom with
Corvette suspension, I'd be all over it.  A ten second quarter on land and
sea.
