Mike,

Just a comment about choice for your interior.

I bought my 69 and made a commitment to bring it back to absolutely stock, color
and all. It is a yellow car, the 68 I purchased new was a yellow car. For the
whole time I had my 68, about a year and a half before a lady totaled it for me,
I wished the yellow was something more than the timid yellow Datsun used in
those days. I also remembered wishing over and over that the seats were cloth
rather than vinyl.

Now I have a factory yellow car that needs paint and interior... I keep
remembering what I thought in 1968 and I have decided that my 69 is going to be
YELLOW. Ferrari paint code 102. Fly Yellow, to be exact. The seats are going
to be velour where my body contacts them and I will be very happy with both
decisions. I am even considering covering the side panels in matching velour.
As to the rest of the car I am trying to keep my vow.

Think long and hard about it because I would bet you will end up in an
upholstery shop whether you buy an interior kit or not. Make the right choice
for you. Its your car and you should be happy with it when it is all done and
you are enjoying it as much as these little cars are meant to be enjoyed.
