Alvin, I agree that the comp springs are not that bad. Choice in tires make s a
big difference as well. When I went to the Dunlop D60 M2s, it was like I had a
new car. Regarding the torque reaction bar, I have not had one for 17 years.
HOWEVER, I think it would be a good idea to have yours welded back on, as it
keeps the springs from arching incorrectly under hard acceleration. I plan
(someday) of making an A-arm locating device that will both keep the springs
from arching and keep the axial housing from moving side to side. It's
designed, but only on my long "list of things to do".
